It's time to get your Prek-4 students enrolled for school! Just a reminder that for Prek-4, children need to be 4 on or before September 1, 2023. Enroll now by going online to https://x2.wcboe.org/aspen/ then follow the directions below.

We are holding our July food distribution, in partnership with the Maryland Food Bank, next Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 10:00am - 11:00am. See the graphics below for more information.
The next monthly meeting of the Wicomico County Board of Education is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 11 in the Board of Education Auditorium at 101 Long Ave., Salisbury.
For the July 11 Board meeting, the Board will convene at 6:30 p.m. and immediately vote to go into closed session. The open portion of the meeting will begin at about 7 p.m. The agenda for this meeting will be available by the Friday before the meeting on BoardDocs: https://go.boarddocs.com/mabe/wcboe/Board.nsf/Public
In accordance with the Board of Education Public Comments Protocol Policy, pre-registration for public comments is required. Public comments during the Board meeting will be limited to 20 participants. To register for public comments, please visit the pre-registration page (https://board_public_comments.wcboe.org/), which will be open starting one week prior to this Board meeting (at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 4) and will close one day before (at 7 p.m. Monday, July 10) before the Board meeting.
Anyone unable to pre-register online may visit the school system office at 2424 Northgate Drive during that timeframe (on any day except July 4, when the school system is closed for the holiday) to fill out a paper copy of the pre-registration form.

Looking ahead to next week: Wicomico County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, July 4. School system offices, secondary summer school and some programs are open July 3. Check with other programs for schedule that day.
Congratulations! We are celebrating as we are re-certified as Level 5 with MD EXCELS along with once again achieving MSDE Accreditation! Way to go to our awesome PK team and all those in support! A comment shared with us stated that we had one of the best playgrounds for PK students in the state!
(Just in case you were wondering, Level 5 is the highest possible rating!)
Wicomico Public Schools is transitioning to a new text alert system for the new school year. It's called Thrillshare.
You will receive an "introductory text" on your phone from our new system on Thursday afternoon (June 29th). You'll know the message is from us because you'll see the 5-digit code of 98900.
If you no longer want to receive these text messages for school updates, emergencies, closings, delays, etc., simply reply STOP to that text message.
