From classroom to curb appeal! This CTE house was built by Carpentry, Electricity, and HVAC students in collaboration with Salisbury Neighborhood Housing. Expert House Movers will transport it to Crisfield this week, where it will become a home. Great job to all involved! #CTEinthehouse

Day 2 of 50...50 Years of Building a RAMFAM Legacy: One Athlete at a Time honors 50 athletes—one from each graduating class—who helped shape Parkside athletics over the past five decades. Each left a lasting impact on their teams, schools, communities, and careers beyond high school. These honorees represent the many Parkside athletes who have inspired others through leadership, service, and accomplishment. Today's honoree is Mary "Amy" Roman Kenney, PHS Class of 1976.

Today marks the start of the 2025–2026 school year at Parkside High School—and it also begins our celebration of Parkside’s 50th anniversary. Parkside High has always been, and will continue to be, a place of excellence, and we couldn’t be prouder of all this school and its thousands of students have accomplished over the decades.
We have so much to celebrate this year, and we hope as many members of the RAMFAM as possible will join us. There will be special events throughout the year, including a memorable 50th Homecoming, exclusive Parkside 50th merchandise, a PHS 50th Spring Gala welcoming all alumni, social media spotlights highlighting five decades of memories, and the creation of a Parkside Brick Garden where you can purchase personalized bricks to honor RAMFAM while beautifying the front of our school. And that’s just the beginning—more surprises are still to come!
Please keep an eye on our social media channels for updates. If you have ideas for celebrating Parkside’s 50th anniversary, we’d love to hear them. Reach out to our current principal and proud Parkside Class of 1991 graduate, Brian Briggs, at bbriggs@mywcps.org.
Today, we are starting by sharing our staff from the very first year of Parkside in 1975-1976. Please feel free to share or tag fellow RAMFAM!
Parkside, 50 Years of Tradition, Pride, and Excellence

Congratulations to Justin Riddleberger (Class of 2026), who spent June 25-28 at the Phantom Regiment Drum Major Academy at the University of Akron (Ohio). He is pictured here with Dr. Galen Karriker, Academy Director and Director of Bands at UA. Justin, we are so proud of you and thrilled that you got to experience this!

Will your child be a member of our new Parkside High Class of 2029? We will hold Freshmen Orientation 4 times over 2 days on August 5th and August 12th. There is plenty more information to follow, but we wanted everyone to save the dates (you only need to attend one session). We can’t wait to welcome you to the RAMFAM! 💚🤍🐏🤍💚

Thank you to our Parkside CTE building service management team for working tirelessly to make sure our school looks amazing for when students return in September. You are amazing!!!
