Here's what was said about Ms. Blood “I can ALWAYS count on Ms. Blood to stay and help with an evening family event as a volunteer. Her vocabulary consists of words like "what can I do?" "give me a job" and "I am here to do whatever is needed." Our students love her, and our staff can confidently count on her to be where she is supposed to be at the time she is scheduled to be there. She is the creative spirit at Glen and is in charge of our large showcase as you walk in the door. She is the heart of Valentines, the shamrocks of March, the bunny of spring , the queen of dress up spirit days and the Christmas tree decorator at the holidays. I am pretty sure Glen would be lost without her giving spirit and smile.”

Our students and staff members are FINALLY returning to school on Monday, Jan. 13, with a 90-minute delay. Monday is a C day, and here is the letter day schedule for this week.
Letter days for elementary students (including those at Pittsville Elementary and Middle) are posted before each week of classes during the school year. The schedule of letter days can be found on school web pages in Live Feed, on the school system's main website in Live Feed and the home page gallery, and on social media. The letter days schedule is provided in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.
